Honeywell Fibre optics extensions for viewing heads

The Honeywell FASA-GLASS and FASA-QUARTZ fibre optic extensions are complete engineered assembled and tested accessories for viewing heads and make it possible to monitor flame in a hostile environment, in the presence of:
excessive vibration
intense heat
corrosive chemicals
explosive gases or dust
complex burner configuration
A fibre optic bundle is used to transmit flame radiation to the remotely located flame detector/viewing head. Flexible stainless steel tubes enclose the fibre optic bundle with forced air injection for cooling.
A lens is used to focus the flame to one end of the fibre optic bundle, with the other end coupled directly to the viewing head.
Various lengths are available in 1 Ft (30.4 cm) incrementals to a maximum of a little less than 8 m (25 Ft)
For IR only detection systems the glass fibre extensions are used
For UV only and dual UV/IR detection systems the quartz fibre extensions are used
Temperature range: -40...400C
Note: FASA fibre optics assemblies are configured products. That means that the full length and used viewing head needs to be specified when ordering. The configuration cannot be changed once the FASA fibre optics assembly has been produced in the factory. Contact Honeywell before ordering.
